BACKYARD BABIES Select Producer For New CD

Sweden's BACKYARD BABIES have reportedly selected Joe Barresi (PENNYWISE, BUCKCHERRY, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, SKUNK ANANSIE, KYUSS) to produce their as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2001's "Making Enemies Is Good". The band are expected to enter Stockholm's Polar Studios during the coming weeks to begin recording the CD for a late 2003 release through RCA/BMG Records.

BACKYARD BABIES' last two efforts, "Making Enemies Is Good" and 1998's "Total 13", were both certified gold in Sweden for sales in excess of 30,000 copies.
